This Privacy Policy describes how Rabbit SEO ("Rabbit SEO," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, web applications, Wix app, Shopify app, SEO tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service") available at https://www.rabbitseo.com/ and associated subdomains.

By creating an account, installing an app, connecting a website, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Rabbit SEO provides SEO software and automation for website owners, including Wix and Shopify users, agencies, and small businesses.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Service:

• Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), account preferences, language, and login or session identifiers.
• Website and SEO data you provide: website URLs, connected domains, sitemap or page URLs, keywords you track, competitor domains or URLs, project settings, and configuration choices for audits and automation.
• SEO audit and analysis data: page titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonical tags, robots directives, schema markup, internal links, broken links, image alt text, page speed or technical signals, and other on-page elements needed to run audits, reports, and recommendations.
• Page content snippets: limited portions of public page content required to analyze SEO issues, generate recommendations, compare pages, or prepare suggested improvements. We do not need full private databases or unrelated site content to provide core SEO features.
• Wix and Shopify integration data: when you install or connect Rabbit SEO through Wix, Shopify, or related marketplaces, we may receive app installation identifiers, store or site identifiers, permissions you grant, OAuth tokens, billing status, and platform metadata needed to authenticate your account and operate the integration.
• Billing and subscription data: plan name, subscription status, trial status, and transaction references. Payment card numbers and full payment credentials are generally processed by Wix, Shopify, PayPal, or other payment/marketplace providers—not stored directly by Rabbit SEO except as limited billing references needed for account management.
• Support and communications: messages you send through contact forms, support tickets, email replies, feedback, and information you choose to include when requesting help.
• Analytics, cookies, and logs: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events, and similar technical data collected through cookies, local storage, or server logs.
• Marketing and communication preferences: whether you opted in or out of product updates, onboarding messages, or promotional emails where applicable.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit website URLs and related data to Rabbit SEO, especially when the site belongs to a client, employer, or third party.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide SEO audits, scores, reports, and actionable recommendations;
• Track keyword rankings and search visibility over time;
• Support competitor and backlink analysis tools;
• Detect broken links, backlink changes, and related SEO issues;

• Prepare, suggest, or apply on-page SEO improvements you enable, such as meta tags, schema markup, or image alt text updates;
• Authenticate users and operate Wix, Shopify, and other app installations;
• Process subscriptions, upgrades, renewals, and account billing status through marketplaces or payment providers;
• Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and troubleshoot problems;
• Monitor performance, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect the security and integrity of the Service;
• Improve features, fix bugs, and understand how the Service is used in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their unrelated advertising purposes.

4. AI processing

Rabbit SEO may use automated systems and third-party AI providers to generate SEO recommendations, suggested titles or descriptions, content summaries, schema suggestions, AI visibility insights, or similar analysis outputs.

• Inputs may include page metadata, limited page content snippets, keywords, audit results, and prompts or settings you provide in the Service.
• Do not submit sensitive personal data (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, health information, or special-category personal data) in website content, prompts, or messages intended for SEO analysis or AI features.
• AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before publishing them to a live website or sharing them externally.
• Where supported, we apply reasonable technical and contractual safeguards with AI subprocessors, but AI systems may process data in countries other than your own.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

• Keep you signed in and maintain session security;
• Remember preferences such as language or display settings;
• Measure usage and improve the Service;
• Help prevent fraud and abuse.

• Professional advisers or authorities when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you for analytics, product improvement, or reporting.

7. Third-party platforms and integrations

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including:

• Wix (app installation, authentication, billing, and site access you authorize);
• Shopify (app installation, authentication, billing, and store access you authorize);
• Search, analytics, or webmaster tools you choose to connect;

• AI model or inference providers used to power recommendations and analysis features.

Information you provide directly to third parties, or that third parties collect independently, is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to review Wix, Shopify, and any other connected platform policies before enabling integrations.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the Service and maintain your account;
• Keep audit history, keyword tracking, and reports available according to your plan;
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or marketplace obligations;
• Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
• Maintain security logs for a limited period.

When you delete your account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal information, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs such as billing records, fraud prevention, or backup systems with limited retention cycles.

Public website data you asked us to analyze may already exist in backups or logs for a limited time before being removed from active systems.

9. International data transfers

Rabbit SEO may process and store information in countries other than the country where you live, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections with service providers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred internationally as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and reviewing connected integrations and permissions on Wix, Shopify, and other platforms.

• Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal or contractual exceptions;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
